Living as United Methodist Christians
Looking to learn more about the United Methodist Church? Feel like you could use a refresher on what we believe as a denomination? Want to grow in your understanding and practice of faith?
Whether a longtime member or a newcomer to the faith, this course explores what it means to be United Methodist today. Together, we will have group devotions, discuss Andy and Sally Langford’s Living as United Methodist Christians, and welcome special guests from our congregation.
Those wishing to join Emmanuel Community as members should speak to Rev. Douglas Clement prior to taking this course.
Facilitator: Pastor Douglas Clement
Drop-in Devotions and Discussions
Spend time reflecting, discussing, and praying as we collectively discover meaning through readings and scripture.
Strengthen your relationship with God as we relate scripture to our lives as individuals and as a church community.

FaithLink – Connecting Faith to Life
What’s happening in society these days? What do the scriptures say about these happenings? What does our church think about such events?
Current headlines, events and issues from a United Methodist point of view, with background information, on-topic Bible passages, group activities, and discussion questions encourage faith-filled responses.
Facilitator: Doug Walters
FaithLink will begin again in Fall.
