Heaven
Have you ever asked, “What will Heaven be like? What will we do there? What will we look like? Will we really have bodies? Will we get bored? Will we recognize our loved ones? How can we know for sure we’ll go to Heaven?” Most of us have questions about Heaven.
Starting April 3, Pastor Stephanie will be leading two growth groups (10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.) on the subject of Heaven. In this study, author Randy Alcorn challenges us to lay aside our preconceived ideas of Heaven and explore what the Bible tells us about eternity and Heaven. I am excited to journey with you on an adventure that will touch your heart, capture your imagination, and fill you with hope and anticipation. I am sure we will share our stories, hopes, laughter and even a few tears. I look forward to being with you. Please sign-up on the bulletin board by my office.
The next time you hear someone say, We can’t begin to imagine what Heaven will be like,” you’ll be able to tell them, “I can!”
Sunday Night Bible Study
This study meets every Sunday night during the school year from 6:30 to 7:30 in Chapel Lounge. We use a variety of resources to guide our learning process, and usually focus on a specific book of the Bible for a more detailed study. Most of the lesson materials run for 10 to 15 weeks. There is some advance preparation each week but the lessons can be of value even if the preparation is not done in advance – we often go over the material in class.
We welcome anyone interested in an ongoing Bible study to join us whenever possible.
Currently the group is studying the book of Exodus. For more information, contact the facilitator, Mark VanCleave or call the church office.
