These parties are sometimes disguised as tea parties or super hero parties but they are all designed to teach kids how special they are in God’s eyes.  AND, because they are special it means everyone else is special too.  We learn how to treat each other and how manors are a large part of respecting others.  These parties are held approximately twice a year.  Watch for more information and be sure to join us at the next You Are Special Party!

This year the all church dance is called the Hoopdidoo Hulabaloo Dance Review.  Say that 10 times! We always have a DJ that gives us some great family music to dance to.  It is always held early in the evening, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., so that families can get home to bed at a decent time yet have fun together.  We not only dance but play some fun games like Musical Chairs.  Dance is usually held in February, so check back to see when the next fun dance is. 

This is an inter-generational program that teaches the children and adults the power of prayer.  For the entire month of February the adults pray for one special child they receive.  Kids have fun knowing they are being prayed for and receiving cards and letters from their special prayer partner. This is an easy program with so many benefits.  Kids get to know another adult in the congregation who care for them.  Adults get to know one of our fantastic kids instead of just passing in the hall or watching them sing in church.  How fun!
