Wendee Nitz, Pastor

Wendee was born and raised right here in Menomonee Falls, WI. She attended Marquette University after high school and studied dental hygiene. She spent fourteen years working in different dental offices throughout the Milwaukee area. While participating in a Disciple Bible Study class in her home church, Trinity-Pilgrim United Methodist Church in Brookfield, WI Wendee recognized a call to ministry and a passion for sharing God's hope with the community where she lived. This call led her to Garret Evangelical Theological Seminary where she earned a Master of Divinity. After graduating from seminary in 2000, Wendee was appointed to serve the Marshall United Methodist Church in Marshall, WI.

Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church is Wendee's second appointment. Her emphasis in ministry here is the youth and young adult populations. Another area of focused ministry here is contemporary worship. Wendee says she is blessed to share ministry with this faith-family. She enjoys connecting with people in their faith journeys and finds faith building through relationships a key to ministry with God.
